Greetings,

I was referred to this website (apparently you guys make lolcats or something?) by a friend in an email. He told me you fellows on the Science and Math board knew a lot about this subject and could possibly offer some advice.

I'm the mother of a child who has recently been diagnosed with autism. He does not speak, and he displays a strong interest in watching the water come out of the spout. I am wondering how long this phase will last?

My friend told me a lot of you on this website have this condition. I was wondering how you cope with it?
