I don't really buy that having a datasphere in my head would solve ignorance. It would give me a plethora of information. Having information doesn't mean you're not stupid. Hell, look at all the professor YEC's and whatnot. These are people with access to all the data you could want, and they still believe things that are in complete opposition to the evidence.

Don't get me wrong, I would love the ability to call forth data by thinking about it, but I don't think that it would cure ignorance. It would just make it even more inexcusable than it currently is*.

Robotic automation that puts everyone out of a job and increases overall productivity at the same time.

A glorious economic revolution as capitalism changes form or is killed off, and a socialist "paradise" arises.

Everybody receives a stipend that supports basic living - food, shelter, entertainment and so on. To earn more, they must contribute back to society in some way. Through the arts, through engineering and science, through entertainment, whatever.

There is still much social and political unrest to drive further adaptation, innovation, and evolution within society.

People gather in to small communities, if their views do not match they are either kicked out or leave by themselves and join another one. Each community depends on one another, for recourses and skills that the specific community might have. Nobody uses their political views, autism, or disability as an excuse to not do anything, because they will be deemed useless to the community and kicked out. Any central government does not have any real power, and are needed more for an advisory role. Travel takes mainly by ships, horses. Large distance communications are made trough the satellite internet network. If a person has a difficult life he can only blame himself. All the food is grown by hand, everything is built by hand. We have now returned to the traditional shcedule and those threads have been replazed by multiple, daily, high quality religion vs atheism and homework threads.

Embrace them!
Give in to the trolling!

Aaaaaaand back to the topic.

My perfect world is not set within this century, or within this millenia even.
My vision of a perfet future for humanity is a state, where every individual human has almost godlike powers through science and technology, free to roam acros the cosmos and shape it to their will.
A future, where the descendants of humanity rule the universe unquestionably, and where each individual is a god. The survival of our race would be guaranteed and our mastery of the universe would allow us to fulfill our wildest dreams.
The universe would submit to our divine will.

This is ofcourse thousands, perphehaps even milions of years in to the future.

A resource based economy full of trendy hipsters, like everyone would live in one place and we'd have a guy who bakes bread and a guy who looks out for other people's safety and they'd exchange goods for "resource chits" then exchange the chits for other goods, that way everything will be fair. Then we'd have like a group of people we vote in to decide how many chits should be used to pay the guy who looks out for other people's safety and to people who are ill or infirm and can't earn chits.

It'd be totally different from what we have now.

Yes, instead of money we'd have resource chits, it'd be totally different and better because fruity socialists would be running stores of these chits where people come to put them and people come to ask for chits to exchange for resources to say build a new bakery and pay more chits back than they borrowed in return. People who can pay more chits back quicker are more likely to get to use the reserved chits.
