General tinfoil-hattery, and the first thing the radio host does is introduce a book that's for sale.

Yeah, not wasting thirteen more minutes of my life on this.

My main problem with these conspiracy theories: why in the fuck are the people controlling this massive "mind control network" not imprisoning the people spreading this crap? If I controlled the government and police and wanted to underhandedly gain more control, I sure as shit would not be letting some asshats making youtube videos about what I'm doing.

looking at the replies ITT why would you imprison people? the people like Alex Jones are seen as by most of society as nut jobs. you would be shooting yourself in the foot by offing random people who speak out.

They bring attention to themselves if they stop people from propagating how they're doing it. But it has some truth to it. Why is it only the west who is so docile about everything? You'll never see westerners freakout the way people do in Libya.

A combination of psychological warfare, hormone suppressants in the food/water, conditioning from media/education, and the threat of force. We know how corrupt our law system is, and when we're charged with a crime, any crime, we face like six charges, each with their own punish minimum. So that way if you go to make a repeal, it can only effect them individually, and you could still be imprisoned for a lifetime.

Oh, but we're free cause we've got fags, abortions, and Snookie.

So I went and read through a document discussing this electromagnetic mind control, one of the patents. Probably the strongest assertion I saw to the effect of "we can use this shit to make you kill people, YEAH" was that pulsed EM radiation can influence sensory nerves in the skin.

Hm. Seems like there's something missing between this and mind control.

The crazy tin-foil hat guys *might* be on to something. One patent I read described using magnetic fields to cure depression or encourage certain brainwave patterns. Now, when most people think about "mind control", influencing broad moods is not what they have in mind. None of this technology suggests that the government can use technology to remotely erase my memory or make me believe that the president is evil or any of that. I might agree that they could, perhaps not inconspicuously, make a bunch of dudes groggy and depressed if they wanted or something of that nature.

>See Alex Jones

STOPPED RIGHT THERE OP.

I think it is fairly obvious that there are people on the top who are trying to manipulate human behavior so they can make money and stay in power BUT to imply that there are a very FEW people up at the top who are carefully planning all of this new world order bullshit seems absurd.

Though I'll admit it is really hard to see the blurring line between powerful institutions such as the banks, government and corporations. It's almost as if the line isn't even there anymore. Though that is how the system we created has developed.

Fucking sick of alex jones and his HURRDURR international zionist banking conspiracy theories.

Central banks aren't the problem with the economy, they are controlled by their respective governments. The problem is fucking obvious - capitalism and the inequality it brings.
