Im trying to tile my wall using pokemon energy cards.
I have different amounts of each type
75- grass
63- red
47- psychic
41 water
37 fighting
14 electric
i want to try to incorporate each at least once in the base pattern then repeat that pattern over and over again as many times as possible. The best i have come up with is using a basic pattern using 12 cards (pic related), but im using too much of my fire and grass to water/psy/fighting.

Can anyone help me out with some more efficient patterns?

5 grass
4 red
3 psychic
2 water
2 fighting
1 electric

That's the maximum of each if you want 14 repeating patterns. There's no perfect ratio is this circumstance as these numbers don't all share a common divisor.

You're going to have to not use a few cards.

if your not going to frase the question is such a way that it can just be copied into google or worlfram then the chances of it getting a answer here is slim. but ill think about it and see if i cum up with something

OP here, sorry the problem isn't worded too well, but thanks for the genuine help. Some outside help will give me time to work on my American psycho wall.

The best you can do depends on how large you're willing to allow the pattern to be.

Data below is
number of patterns, size of patterns, cards used

1 277 277
2 136 272
3 90 270
4 66 264
5 53 265
6 43 258
7 37 259
8 31 248
9 29 261
10 25 250
11 22 242
12 21 252
13 18 234
14 17 238
