Every child is indoctrinated with a Word Virus. The virus decodes words into proteins and releases the proteins into the reader's brain.

First you give meanings to different sounds.
Then you assign different letters to each individual sound.

PRESTO! you can now communicate with other individuals using letters.

Alternately you assign meanings AND sounds to different letters, like how the Chinese alphabet works
