I have a group of friends who I study with, which mainly consists of me reteaching them most concepts. It's mutually beneficial because as I teach the concepts I get a better grasp of the information.

Basicly all professions and work is helping someone. I think helpful in this sense is being more helpful than that which is expected/required of you.

I like to help others out as often as possible, it's my contribution for a better society.

Sorta. I mean, I helped people with the subject they hated the most, and more than once I had to step back and take a few deep breaths before I started yelling "HOW FUCKING STUPID CAN YOU BE?"

Eyring was a mormon.
He literally whore "magic" underwear.

In light of this general dumbfuckishness, everything he ever "said" or "did" is irrelevent.

And Aristotle believed in thunder gods and the guys who created algebra believed in Mahoma. You probably don't believe in those things, but does that make their work "irrelevant"?
