How would someone make a lot of money easily and quickly, with a capital of around 100k? It doesn't have to be entirely realistic as long as it's basically plausible - it's for a story I'm writing.

For your story you can write how the character can murder someone for the money,

If that's not character fitting, he can get paid to beat up some guys, if that's not fitting,

he could sell drugs, if that's not fitting, he could steal it from a bank or family,

If that's not fitting he could take a loan on a fake name and try to get away with it.

Depends on how much you need and what your risk level is and what you mean by "easy". Options:
1) Solid stocks that pay dividends, like IBM, Intel, Microsoft.
2) High yield bonds.
3) Buy a fast food franchise
