I definitely think the war on drugs is a gigantic waste of money. I still don't want to see drug-pushers intimidating people into taking drugs or getting them addicted.

There are dozens of spurious and mediating variables. Race alone has little to no impact on intelligence.

>>2544236
Other areas someone can be intelligent in: music, art, social skills, mechanics...

By intelligence, I mean something that is a talent and does not increase or decrease much with practice.

way to directly contradict yourself
all of those things become VASTLY better with practice

This happens every single day in doctor's offices and on TV when you see ads for pills you don't need. I've never seen commercials urging me to try crack, and I've never had anyone push it on me, but people have tried to sell me anti-depressants.

Besides, complete legalization means pushers don't have to push. Any potential clients will seek them out since it's no longer so shifty.

People don't go for back street dealers to buy peanut butter cut with all sorts of things, they go to a store.
The market for illegal peanut butter sales is completely non-existent.

Proof?

Skills != intelligence

Ones memory or problem solving ability can help them become skillful Artists, Musicians, Socialites ect but being artistic, musically inclined(which is actually linked with intelligence if you mean actual ability to compose musical scores) or social is not transferable to other areas.

You're confusing skill and talent with intelligence.
By intelligence, I mean something that is a talent and does not increase or decrease much with practice.

I don't mind playing along, and it is indeed true that all parties can be placed on a liberal / conservative line. It's just *an extremely non-indicative measure.* For instance, I'm about as conservative as Glenn Beck, whom I hate.

well I assume he hates Glenn Beck because of his political ideologies because honestly, what else do you know Glenn Beck for?

No, because politically I share practically no views in common with Glenn Beck. That's the entire reason I mentioned the example. If you are suggesting it's a problem, please see "guilt by association."

then it's impossible that you're as conservative as he is
obviously it's more nuanced than that, but you'd still be on the other side of the spectrum here

I'm Anarcho-Conservative.

What am I supposed to do? Turn this spectrum into a mobius loop?

I really don't share much of anything in common with him. Of course, this could be exaggerated by the fact that he speaks most often about issues in which I disagree with him, while hardly ever mentioning other, core conservative issues where I would (theoretically) agree.

Well, I said I disagree with most things that come out of his mouth, and I'm not that familiar with the less talked-about nuances of his politics. I can only speculate. Perhaps taxation? Gun ownership? Affirmative action? Eminent domain? Lots of economic issues that get little mention (discretionary power of the Fed, deposit insurance, cartelization and quasi-government status of ratings agencies, fiat currency)?
