I've met a few hundred engineers, I don't recall any of them being gay, though there was this one industrial hygienist I used to wonder about some.

/sci/entists are jelly that engineers get paid more because a science is only as good as its application, but application is worth infinitely more than pure theory.

There are TONS of openly gay engineers at my college.

I live in a place where a gay dude runs a fair risk of being tied to a fencepost and beaten to death.

It's possible I've met far more gay engineers than I suspect, just that they weren't too obvious about it. Nothing seems to stop the waiters around here from prancing and lisping though.
