Hello /sci/,

So, I'm in Trig right now and our class just got back our first exam results for semester.

The class average was 47%, but I somehow managed to get a 53%. A lot of us refuse to drop the class and failure isn't an option. We really need/want to pass. Most of us have decided to start working together but we have conflicting schedules.

I'm thinking of making a google docs group or something where me and a few others in my class can get together and share notes and how we solved homework problems.

How would I go about doing this or something like this?

Get a Spark Chart or some other source of notes and equations and just practice. Try to find practical applications.

So all I have to do is make a google doc and invite others to it?

Hmm, what is this, trig on hell difficulty? Sounds kind of awesome.

There is no hell trig, all trig is easy as shit.

Yeah, but I'm giving OP the benefit of the doubt.

Well, my Prof's practice exams weren't really like anything on the exams and phrased much different.

I would feel better if someone in my class actually passed.

Also he does NOT curve.

>> No.2495181

>>2495170
he should post one of the more challenging problems anyways, just to be sure.

Even still, it's not like you are trying to apply trig to something that violates the triangle inequality.

>> No.2495194

Of course he doesn't curve, otherwise you wouldn't be bitching on 4chan.

>> No.2495207

>>2495174

He has to curve... you think any university would keep a professor who constantly teaches a failing class?

It was like that in my 1st year intro physics. Class average was 35% before exams. After exams, the average was 65%... If you didnt know, most university courses REQUIRE the average to be a C

>> No.2495221

Well maybe it's too hard, you know high school analytical geometry can be hard sometimes and...

The solution is NOT to become more social.

The solution is to become anti-social and improve your problem solving skills.

Moron.

OP here. It's a college course and thanks. I actually have a wave account with a few invites left.

Maybe I'll use this but I thought Gmail's google docs was basically the same without the lag and online chat.

Do you really want to be studying with people who did worse than you on the test?

If you have access free tutoring from grad students, use it. If your prof gives office hours, visit him/her.

Is tehre a better way to do this than using wave or google docs?

The guy is talking about a college course, which while trig is most probably harder than the "find the hypotenuse in this right angled triangle" shit you get in your dumbfuck class.

I'm in calculus III but have shitty trig fundamentals because my ACT score allowed me to skip college level trig.
