Argument from Authority. Just because these men contributed greatly to math, does not mean their religion is correct as well.

Newton was a Christian. Doesn't mean Christianity is correct either.

Thanks for playing, try again later.

By incredibly strict Christians.

It's like Bin Laden's type of Muslims. They only believe they are the true Muslims.

Newton was definetely a Christian, deal with it.

Unless the posters of this board are discussing Newton.

In that case, a bunch of autistic high school students can make all sorts of assumptions about his personal beliefs.

He was a upper middle class, educated man of the period who had personal friends in the hierarchy of Britain.

Basically, it would have been unlikely that he was anything else. Since roughly 100 percent of educated people up until about 1880 practiced religion.

Why does it offend you so much that the greatest scientist who ever lived, who died a few hundred years ago, happened to believe in something you don't?

You and OP are too retarded to know the difference between someone with an Arabic name and someone who is Islamic.

Protip: Islam is the actual reason the Arab world stopped producing anything.

>Since roughly 100 percent of educated people up until about 1880 practiced religion.

This isn't really a proof.

it doesn't bother me, i'm just curious. and you're assuming i'm an atheist because i don't think newton was a christian? nice logic there bro

Whatever Isaac Newton believed it is still an absolute certainty that being an atheist does not make you immune to the same self-justification and fallibility as everyone else.

Why are you so pathologically desperate to hold onto the delusion that you are superior to everyone else? Ego much?

>and you're assuming i'm an atheist

Because I can see you all over /sci/ fagging up threads with talk of Religion as opposed to science.

You also type like a retard. The sort of retard who discusses faith on a science board.

>This isn't really a proof.

I'm not the one who made the stupid claim that Newton wasn't a Christian you spastic. Go find some proof that he wasn't. Look at all his research into the Bible and the church. If you get brought up in an environment where all your peers, your parents and your education is built around Religion you don't suddenly have an epiphany and realise it might not be true. Especially in 17th century England.

You really are a fool. Arabs are not always Islamic. A Muslim is not always an Arab.

ISLAM was created by an ARAB. Who spread it to the rest of the Arabic world, about 1400 years ago.

Islam didn't replace the Arab lifestyle, it simply prevented the majority of them from doing things against their own belief.

The people on OPs list were not Islamic.

explain how that makes someone christian

>If you get brought up in an environment where all your peers, your parents and your education is built around Religion you don't suddenly have an epiphany and realise it might not be true.
we're talking about newton, not some ordinary guy. i believe he was intelligent enough to doubt religious dogma. and again what makes you think he just wasn't posing as a christian?

>I'm not the one who made the stupid claim that Newton wasn't a Christian you spastic.
my stupid claim was "maybe newton wasn't a christian" and i get called spastic for asking for proof?

>> No.2410285

The actual subject should read:

"These men were ARAB and all created the Math that you're using right now".

As already mentioned, every arab is not a muslim/islamic.

Because Mohammad was arab, he carried the arabic naming system wherever he spread his shit ( read: religion) but most of the contribution of these great men was even before the advent of Islam, when the arabs were pagans.
