I am moving into a new flat but it is unfurnished. I expect I will have to sleep on the floor for a few months while I save up for a bed. Will this cause me any problems i.e back damage on too much dust?

I sleep on the floor all the time. You do realize that the human body was actually mean to sleep on the floor right? Beds only show up recently in the evolutionary scheme.

The human back was deisigned perfectly to sleep on a bed.
Tides go in, tides go out, go to bed, wake up from bed.

Never a miscommunication.

People who sleep on the floor are like people who enjoy drinking water.

They hate progress.

People were 'designed' to sleep on soft surfaces. hard, perfectly flat surfaces such as flooring only show up recently in the evolutionary scheme.

get a hamac

(google says: henconet chilled)

Had the same problem before. No bed, and worse no vehicle to transport a bed and matress from a store to my place.

I found a hammock on craigslist for $20. It was petty cool.

Carpet? Which would have been similar to what most humans have slept ......

According to evolutionary theory you should sleep in a tree. Beds are for holier -than-thou religious fags.

No, people would not have slept on a thin, perfectly uniform amount of cushioning. They would've torn up, beaten, moved, and adjusted it until it conformed to their body.

I work for a storage company. The number 1 abandoned good is matresses. Maybe ask around see if anyone has one that needs removal. Its cheaper for them to give it to you, than to call a vendor to pick it up.

Enjoy the Cimicidae.

craigslist free stuff, im sure someone has a shitty old matress they'll be willing to give you. it might have shitstains and piss on it, but it'll be softer than the floor.

otherwise, i second the hammock motion. hammocks are very comfortable.

Cover with some sheets and a blanket.
