Hi /sci/

i hope you all know the famous trollphysics image, where you wanna prove that you can make a circle out of a square. well i asked my math prof what he thinks about it, and he couldn't give me a statisfying answer.

he just said, even if the square had infenitely small edges, he still has edges. those edges times infinity equal 4 in the end.

But when you reach infinitely small edges, you can't just multiply them again....

is that an answer?
PS: pic unrelated and i would be happy about a trollphysics thread.

what does that image have to do with physics?

your prof, couldn't think of the real reason so he just bs'ed you

i mean he could show me how to calculate a circle in general, int(0-2pi) sinxcox dx but that wasn't really satisfying cos i wanted to know if you could find out pi when you use that method
