A minor adjustment suggestion: the orbiting ball should not be directly above the center. It would look better if it was at 45 degrees (upper right) on the orbit. This would make it more dynamic and progressive. Now it looks like the object had stopped.

If you want to actually have some form of reliable voting, I think some sort of PKI system would be preferable. Users generate their private/public keypairs, and the public keys are entered into the "valid" keys list when one becomes a citizen (possibly via a secret way, to gurantee secrecy of voting). Another alternative would be something similar to Bitcoin's cryptographic system which allows a form of validation of histories of translations (votes in this case), however that presents even less anonimity in general. Of course, there are some other ways to insure anonimity in similar way to how some theoretical (or should I just say, unpopular, as they have working implementations) digital cash systems work. Actual distribution of votes should also be done in a P2P system, that way there is no central point of failure and the system is self-sustained by the voters.

I think we should not give any individual any amount of power over issues as such, since there is no way to define one's competence on complex issues before the issues have actually risen.

The procedure should be, that every action should be proposed publicly, to be assessed by all. Then it should be argued for and against by those that have the compentence to assess the different aspects, the comptence being defined by the ability of the individual to present knowledge and insight into the issue.

Not flawless, but prevents cases where a person ends up deciding on things that appear to be within their professional scope but actually are not.

I always wondered what are the requirements for having your very own nation. Some people managed to create their own nations with virtually no population. I'm really interested in how does one pull that off.

Well, there is a serious problem currently plaguing Europe which we could take advantage of:
the gypsy infestation

If we could make a deal with the EU and offer them a solution, we might be able to start something.

Let's say we request a piece of land from a few adjacent countries and create a new nation between them. Than gather hundreds of thousands of gypsies there. We tell the European Union that we'll provide them shelters (which they can't easily turn into garbage like they do with free homes), teach them how to do basic things (because the only thing they know is how to waste their welfare, steal, rob and murder) and we make them productive members of a new society in which they don't threaten white people, they are not the "minority" anymore and they can prove that they can take care of themselves (which they can't).

But in reality we would use them for slave labor, never let them go and guess what, only the gypsies would complain about it. (but just until we drug them senseless)

Too bad this will never happen since European politicians need them for their cheap votes...
