If /sci/ is so smart, then how come that he doesn't graduates from college in less than a year?

Because if you speed through things, you get a half-assed education.

Normally I'd be inclined to agree with you but that Omegle thread is still at the top of the page. And the question still works (fails) in real life.

Confuckingradulations on your shitty education.

Because graduating from college doesn't imply being smart. It's a system that be beaten if you understand the rules. I had to learn that the hard way.

That's why so many smart people feel unmotivated, they want to truly learn and feel challenged but most of the time college is like high school 2.0.

Well, I only got my bachelor degree (in physics) in 2 years (4 semesters), so I guess I am stupid. This doesn't mean that I am smart, but rather that I am able to get through simple math/physics courses quickly.

...because if you're doing a hard science degree, the years of research that you put in as an undergraduate will be immensely helpful for anything you do once you graduate.

I can graduate college with about three years of lab experience under my belt. If most starting jobs want five years experience, I'm 3/5ths of the way done. Not to mention it coincides with honors in my major, actually learning the tricks you wouldn't learn in a classroom, and application of material.

Problem, textbook do-it-yourself fags?
