Gentlemen, I loosely base my beliefs in christianity but I do so through these use of allegory.

My logic:
The bible is allegory. The symbols and stories are man made which means they begin in reality and are filtered through the mind. All things perceived in the mind come from natural patterns and shapes.

Therefore, the patterns and shapes portrayed through allegory in the bible must have a realistic basis for comparison.

Even fantasy must use what is present in reality otherwise science would be useless in that realm... oh... wait?
