What is the point of life?

(No answers based on any certain religion, this question assumes no afterlife, no angels, no demons, etc.)

To refine your ability to perceive your most subtle cognitions, to the point where you reach a thorough understanding of your basic state of being and thus liberate yourself of the misconceptions that otherwise shape your every moment. This allows you to live a life free from any dissatisfaction, irritation, disappointment or other negative feelings, and opens your possibilities for feeling "real" joy, satisfaction and relate to others in a completely open, honest and direct manner.

There are several religions that strive for this or similar states, but it is quite possible to do it without any religious convictions.

The best thing is that this is not a particle of faith, but a goal that people attain to with regularity. And thus something that anyone can try out for themselves. Just try it.

The human endeavor. To expand into the extreme reaches of space, of the sea, of the poles, everywhere that tries to keep us out. To shake our fist at nature as we sip on cocoa inside a thermally regulated closed loop life support pod on the surface of Pluto. To teach the large predators of the sea to fear a seemingly harmless species of tiny, hairless ape as we gradually re-concquer our old evolutionary stomping grounds. To do science here, there and everywhere; near the core of the Earth, in the Challenger Deep, at the South Pole and in space.

Why? So that there can be more. More of everything; Music, painting, dance, games, films, life, laughter and love. So that the insignificant speck of dust in a sunbeam where all of human history has played out will not also be where it concludes. So that ten thousand years from now, there will be no planet in the galaxy which has not felt human feet.

Mankind must rule the stars.

The idea/concept of purpose is a human invention; a construct we have created. This is to say that without us this construct does not exist, thus there cannot be an inherent purpose or point to life. We invented the construct so we must also define it.

One of verry few things that i consider absolutely true is i appear to be a human.

So the meaning of life is probeby to manifest myself as a human. (looking into history, believing in a deity is part of it).

Just like the meaning of life for a flower is probebly to manifest itself as a flower.

that`s my whole point, i because i can`t say i AM a human. i must say a am the appearance of a human, this is a rock solid statement.

Even if i`m actually am just a tree; I`m still the appearance of human too, as part of that existance.

even if i`m not real at all i`m still the appearance of a human, although not a real human.
