Trolling aside, this is somewhat of a premature conclusion. You cannot verify the right hemisphere is conscious. Measures of consciousness are dependent on the neural substrates that mediate subjective report such as expression by language. Most of these systems are lateraled and situated in the left hemisphere. Sever the corpus callosum and the right hemisphere becomes detached and cannot access Broca's area. The hemisphere that 'does the talking', so to speak (no pun intended), is the left hemisphere. The apparent goal directed action expressed in alien hand syndrome is not in itself evidence for consciousness.

Why are we confined to one brain and body we have to control? What designated me to be alive in this space, and at this time? Why this body? I am not conscious of my entire body at every moment. If I suddenly stop being able to feel a body part, does it stop being a part of me? Is a theorem or idea I wrote down and then forgot one day still part of "me"?

The transmission and retention of information must be a part of my identity. Do two identical twins share a "soul"? They came from the same cell. So do clones. They share enormous amounts of information, and twins even share experiences. What exactly is a soul? A unique vessel for some sort of information, and that's as general as we can be, I agree. Some religions says it's indestructible, and, if I threw my written theorem into a black hole, it might be lost forever (or not? prof Hawking's still working on that one, I think.)

Now, supposing it could be separated: I forget my theorem, but I wrote it down. I am no longer aware of it, and maybe I won't even be able to understand it when I see it again. Does it still belong to me?

I'd argue: can atoms belong to other atoms? Can the Universe own itself? The question boils down to "who am I? Do I exist?" Well... to quote someone else: "Who's asking?" Arguably, as long as two objects can transmit SOME information between themselves, we can consider them a single object, so that action of A on B transmits to C.
