God judges you on how decent you were, if you enever heard of Christ or were indoctrinated in any way. People who were good folk but never heard of it are safe.

If you heard about Christ, and refused him, you are most likely doomed.

If you were a christian, but failed hard at it, you are EXTRA doomed.

So those people who tell you you will burn in Hell? They are twice as likely to fall into Hell themselves.

Mind you, the actual Hell does not involve fire. Whatever it is, the punishment is being unable to be with God. Hell is a place where God is not there.
