So I applied to Ohio State last week, my top school, and just got a letter in the mail that said my social security numbers didnt match up on my application and my ACT score report.

well when my mom set up my ACT account, I was out of town, she assumed she remembered my SSN and typed it in. which was right except for 1 number.

she blames me, and tomorow is the deadline for full consideration and possible scholarships

tried to call ACT and OSU, but they're both closed by 5 PM.
both of my parents dont seem to care

The school may be reasonable, if you are lucky in to whom you speak. Don't be rude about your mom when you explain yourself. I can't see that helping.

In any case, there may be a published deadline, but in the end it's just a bunch of insufferable people sitting around in a circle jabbering about student x vs y. Participating in the admissions process must be some punishment universities hand out to unruly faculty. Nothing says "fuck you" like "read these 300 self-important highschool essays".

I'm a poorfag and I worked my way into University.

Volunteering every single day of the week (except Tuesday, because it's motherfucking Thor's day) and working for 4 hours every Saturday and Sunday at DQ.

With a 90%-ish average. Keep in mind that I'm not in America, where they inflate your mark because your class is full of niggers lowering the overall average of the class and thus making the school look bad.

In America, when I applied to my top school I was judged like a piece of meat. I sent in multiple sets of test scores from multiple tests, several essays, my grades, class rank, like four letters of recommendation, and I sat through an interview.

I got in but I didn't attend the school because I couldn't afford the tuition nor justify the huge student loans to myself.
