Anyone VERY familiar with the Inverse-square law? I need help setting up some lights and want to maximize/calculate lumens. HALP!

I'm more of an English kinda guy...I'm TERRIBLE at figuring this out :/

I'm going to be using 6,500K CFL lights (~80 Lumens per watt), I need to find a way to get 10 plants, 7500 lumens per square foot. My grow-room/hydro-tent is only 6 sqft.

Maybe I'm taking the wrong approach to this...I dunno...I'm just generally confused.

Math to me is like magnets to a jugallo.

I found out a way to answer my question in regards to calculating lumens!

"High Pressure Sodium (HPS) or Metal Halide (MH) lights can also be used. They come in 400w and 1000w sizes, and unless you have a large area to cover, the 400w is plenty. A 400w MH system costs about $200 and puts out as many lumens as 20 fluorescent bulbs. This fixture would provide enough light for an 8'x8' growing space"

How many lumens does a 400w metal halide lamp put out? Does anyone know? So if my grow space was ~6'x6' (Or less), how many lumens and/or 6500K CFLs would I need?
