This semester has actually been awesome. I've somehow managed to temporarily escape having to interact with premeds. Instead, I'm chilling with geology majors (who are awesome) and the few that share my major.

Granted, I also haven't slept in 36 hours at this point.

I agree with what you're saying (and that's definitely one of the best things about architecture) but nowadays, all the big architects and subsequently architecture education are becoming so caught up in their own unjustifiable bullshit. Think about the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing. that thing might look cool, but it uses something like 5-10x more steel than is necessary for a stadium to support itself. And the Water Cube right next to it is so retardedly over-engineered that structure could support itself if sat on the ground sideways.
