This is the science board, correct?

Can any of you figure out how the hell they did this?

I suspect with one of these and a laptop the same size as the old TV's screen.

If I were to attempt to disassemble a TV and remove any internal components, would this be difficult?

This a million times.
LCD flats ftw.

Flat panel display

No, but it can be dangerous for complete retards.

Tie one hand behind your back when dealing with high voltage capacitors. Otherwise you can get your heart stopped.

Also wear safety glasses. The vacuum sealed picture tube can implode and spray glass everywhere.

I'm pretty sure they could also see through the masks, because there's more videos where they're walking around.

no, not at all.

In fact the danger lies in this.
Even if it's unplugged for years, components can deliver unpleasantness and death with lethal electrical discharges.

Don't poke in there if you don't know what it does.
Local tv repairs stores might be persuaded to gut one for you or have some shells ready for the scrapping

..or they were clever and have a nice internal display with pin hole camera feed

then again they don't have to look forward to walk around well, just look down at feet through a vent or gap.
not to mention the accompanying "speakers" would be able to see far better, so they just keep the "tv" between them where ever they all go.

Yes. However this is not magic, it's electrical safety 101.

And what per se would tying one hand behind the back do to counter spontaneous heart stoppage?

>> No.1987159

his point is that you're far less likely to bride the cap with one hand.

still possible though.

It prevents current from flowing through your chest if you're touching ground with one hand and a high voltage with the other.

i fail to see how this would prevent charged cap on a board in your hand from killing you when you accidentally discharge it
