I another occasions I did propose that animals do work. They can climb trees for fuit, run for prey, etc. Monkeys use tools and even lend them to others. Some animals communicate, some even teach, but the best response I got was that I was being "excessively rejective of the contents presented and should try accept more".

When I was a senior in HS I took Physics with the year below me because I hadn't taken it the previous year due to a full timetable. The guy teaching us was new to the school that year so our first class must have been one of his first as well. He broke the ice with some metaphysical questions to get everyone talking about physics. One of his questions was 'how would you define matter'? Some girl gave an answers fairly acceptable for a HS level education about how it's everything around us, makes up everything etc etc. Then some smartass kid in the front row decides to ask, 'But what about antimatter?'. She asks him in return, what antimatter is. He answers her with a smug look on his face; a black hole. Seriously, that was his answer. He then looked at the teacher for approval. How the fuck the teacher didn't leave the classroom there and then with his face deeply embedded in the palm of his hand is beyond me.
From then on I held back a lot of questions I had about the shit we were learning because I knew it would go right over everyone in the class' head. I mentioned wave-particle duality once and they all about shat their pants.

I got put in the gifted program when they tested me, thinking I was retarded. I blew the test out of the water. They asked me why I never turned in any homework, and had shit handwriting, after they saw me carefully sign my name on the test, and I replied, "Becasue it's not important."
They pretended to put me in the gifted program, to satisfy my mother, but it wasn't until I entered middle school that my teachers stopped treating me as though I was retarded, and I actually was put into the gifted program.
Becasue of my formitive years, I have no work ethic, and pissed away highschool, which I'm seriously regretting now that I have to pay for college, instead of having free ride scholorships like all my friends.

My school only taught up to Calculus. There was no further math you could take from my school after that. The requirements for graduation were Algebra I and Geometry. I took every math course though and by Calculus I only had 8 other students in my class.
