Hey /sci/ I know you guys don't much like homework problems but this is more of a test prep thread. I have a test tomorrow on Newtons 3 laws and some of his equations. Them being: F=ma and F=M(a+g)

can you give me some problems you think would appear on a test for a senior in honors physics?

thanks, it's much appreciated.

also, I did most of the practice problems in the book but I just wanna make sure I get an A on this test to bring my % up to 96.

A 7kg wagon is being pushed at a 30* angle from the horizontal and begins to move forward at a rate of 0.2 m/s/s. How much force is being applied?

we haven't gone over angles or anything like that yet.

That's not the real equation

you want F=dp/dt

You're having a test and you've done practice problems and you haven't done anything with angles yet? My school doesn't even have honor physics and yet we started with angle problems.

1.61658075 Newtons?

Should have left the vector symbols off the variables in your image, then.

Also without angles this is simplistic algebra you should not need practice with by this point.

I guess I'm asking to much of /sci/ to help me

....our high school don't even have honors physics, we just have regular physics as our class average is 75.

let me tell you about our physics class and our school. Our teacher is here about 2 out of 5 days a week, one of which he teaches one he tests us. The other three are "relax days" as he calls them. We're on chapter 4 in our book (of 12).

You mean you don't have a 100 in senior honors physics? How's being a fucking idiot retard fagget working out 4 you?

>> No.1966408

>>1966398

We don't even have text book as the school is too cheap to pay for any more.

Our teacher basically just prints out work sheet. My school is full of retards too. Last year they had pre-cal now they only teach ap cal which mixes in some clueless students.

Go to hell, honors physics is hands-down one of the easiest high school science classes offered. Take AP Physics and come back to /sci/, that's a class that'll break your balls

It's not. And "pre-cal" is just trig and computationally heavy algebra.

That being said you're still far ahead of your peers I'm sure. Just don't go thinking you're a big shot until you see what real scientists and mathematicians do.
