The work being used to push the balls out is equal to the work being used to push the balls in.
Only one problem, when you introduce the blade and/or generator, the forces are not longer balanced. You would need to have more energy going in than the energy that comes out in order to accomplish this.
Having more energy go in than out is possible, but would defeat the purpose of the machine.

>> No.1898910

>>1898900

I noted the forces out/in to prove they are equal, so referencing them as a reason for why the system cannot work is invalid. The forces are equal, they cancel each other out.

So in total you have gravity pushing the less dense balls up on the left side, and gravity pulling the more dense balls down on the right hand side, these forces induce the clockwise rotation of the system.

You also have the friction of the wheel (gear), and some air resistance, these oppose counter clockwise motion of the system.

I postulate that the dual forces of gravity are enough to overcome the air resistance and the friction of a very well lubricated wheel.

Perpetual motion, then simply hook up a small generator.

>> No.1898916

>>1898910
What you don't seem to understand is that the generator requires energy to be driven, this energy can't simply appear out of no where. If the forces cancel each other out then the machine will stop as soon as you add the generator.

>> No.1898917

eventually those "extremely powerful rare earth magnets" would lose their magnetism, and the ferro-magnetic fluid would come pouring out. You're basically just taking energy from the magnets in a very inefficient way.

Clearly you don't understand at all, in fact i'm starting to doubt your any older than 16-18. The gravity forces is pushing down on both sides, generating no net force. The floating force is cancelled when the balls begin to move. Did I mention friction? No amount of lubricant will give you infinite motion.

How is it that the floating force is canceled out when the generator comes into play??

When you call my age in on the argument you make your own position weaker, I could say the same about you, and it would be idle speculation.

I'm not sure you understand the 'floating' force, You see the balls float due to gravity. In the water gravity pushes the balls up, in the air it pushes them down.

In the water the balls are pulled down by their OWN gravity, but they are pushed UP by the gravity of amount of ferro-fluid that they displace, which is a much greater force than the force of the balls gravity,

In our situation gravity is the attraction between an object and the earth. When a ball is in the fluid, the net force experienced by the object is the force of gravity on the mass of the object towards the earth, minus the force of gravity on the mass of the fluid that it displaces.

Those forces point in opposite directions, the mass of the fluid that the ball displaces is many times that of the mass of the ball itself, which means that most of the energy in the system is generated by the balls in the fluid.

This is how flotation and buoyancy work.

The only problem with these unlimited energy ideas with water and magnets is that to create one watt of power is not an easy task, the speed at which these "ideas" would move would never be enough to create 1w of power.

There is a science museum near my house that has a bike that you can ride to create wattage. It takes the average human going on that bike as hard as they can for several minutes to make 1 watt.
