Science is an applied branch of philosophy: Empirical Naturalism. The scientific explanation of the Big Bang you've got is plenty philosophical.

If you want a different shittier branch of philosophy to try at it:
Nihilistic: It doesn't matter.
Aesthetic: It looks pretty.
Metaphysics: Maybe it's not real because we live in the Matrix.
Theologic: Fucking magic.
