it's supposed to balance your body's inner force field... it's not really the bracelet it's the hologram in it. they put them in necklaces and all kinds of other shit. supposedly you dont have to even wear it, it just has to be within 1 inch of your body to work.

I just re-enacted the video with a regular rubber wristband, worked just the same, then did a 3rd trial without it and it worked even better than the 2nd trial (which had the wristband). This suggests it is all just the practice effect.

Notice that during the 2nd (the strength) test, the thingy is also within the instructor's "power field", thus is should also increase his strength (or they should share the strength increase), and thus it should cancel out the effect. Curiously, this does not happen.
