Hey /sci/ I am trying to figure out what I want to major in and do with my life. I know I want to go into a science field, but I am not sure which one. As such, please post your opinions of each type of science and their pros and cons.

Only issue is everyone will loathe you for being better than them.

If you're planning to do something applied, anything, no matter how soul-crushing, will do. If you want to do research, for the love of God pick something you're passionate about.

Good point

Is there any way to gauge the difficulty of learning one science over another? As in would learning chemistry be harder then learning biology or physics?

Physics is harder than chemistry is harder than biology. Of course that's a sweeping generalization but there you go.

Interesting.
How would astronomy fit in?

This is not correct. It's a different kind of hard, and it depends on what kind of biology you go into. If you go into medical biology, it's "hard" as in you memorize a thousand terms per week.

If you go into biochem or molecular biology, differentiating from chemistry's difficulty becomes difficult because it's almost all chemistry.

Do whatever you are interested in, man. If you pick something just because people say it is the "best" and you don't really have a passion in it, you will probably do average, in both school and as a professional.

That said, Physics is the master science. If you pick anything else you are a fag.
