ITT everyone realizes how insignificantly stupid they are, because they will never be able to find out 1% of what is going on in the universe in their lives.

Some stars will blow up, some will get sucked by black holes, others will be born, etc etc etc...

Well, sentience, sapience, evolution, artificial life, genetic engineering.

Oh, but I guess you don't want to here about any of that because FUCK EARTH HUMANS ARE STOPPING SCIENCE CAUSE THEY ARE DUMB.

Seriously, to say that nothing of interest is happening on earth shows you to be an angsty 16 year old.
>>1740598 said it just fine. Space is beautiful, but until we discover alien life, even if it's just microbial, space is pretty fucking dull.

Regarding your latter statement. There are interesting things happening here on Earth right now, but it's insignificant on a larger scale, be it by Earth or Universe. I am worrying how I'm going to ask this girl out, that's interesting, but then again it isn't. BTW, I'm an angsty 17 year old.

ITT: angsty teens who think humanity wont eventually have a huge impact on the universe

200 years ago we were reading by candlelight, 200 years is nothing in cosmological terms, in 10,000 years if we haven't destroyed ourselves we'll be beyond anything that anyone on earth can currently imagine.

Again, the universe is pretty dull.

After a millenia you've pretty much seen it all. Comets, suns, black holes and Gas giants. Oh and nebulas. Which are not as pretty as the pictures.

Life is the interesting bit.

And you're underage. You must be 18 to come to 4chan. Read Global rule 2.

But we will destroy ourselves, and nothing will change.
