Shit /sci/
I have a plan.

1. You stay out of Pseudoscience + Religion-Science threads.
2. We stay out of Science threads.
3. You don't suppress us, (we never suppress you anyway)
4. Peace.

Lemme guess. Sage? Troll? Report?

>> No.1714861

>You stay out of Pseudoscience + Religion-Science threads
On /sci/, no thanks.

How would you like it if we started posting science threads on a Jesuit forum?

>> No.1714868

>>1714861
What's the problem? You don't have to read them.
You minus and sage most of the threads at the moment; and again, it is science, to some of us.

Go ahead, I'm sure they'll allow you to have your word.

Alright, I'm going to find a nice Jesuit forum to post on. I'm make sure they don't "supress" anything. Enjoy your stay here, aether.

>Lemme guess. Sage? Troll? Report?
But not in that order!

>> No.1714885

>(we never suppress you anyway)
I would post laughinggirls.jpg, but this statement is not funny at all.

>> No.1714886

What is the point in suppressing anyway? Surely it would be better to spend your time discussing science than playing forum police. Or do you admit you're only here to suppress freedom of belief?

>> No.1714894

Yeah but listen man. You really need to go somewhere else for this stuff. I mainly come here to see if anyone's posted some cool shit about science, like space travel and shit. But Pseudoscience and religion just don't work here man. I believe in God and I think someday we might even prove that the Universe is a giant thinking body. But I even think that needs to be somewhere else until it reaches a stage where it is a scientific theory as much as gravity and thermodynamics are. So please man, just let us be so we can just look at bad ass scientific shit.

A child wants to learn something more imaginative and less strict than the not 100% science laws. Freedom of discussing science outside of the laws is fine, especially if they're not 100%, explain to me why that is wrong. If you can, I leave. If you can't, you just admitted all you're doing is suppressing, in front of anyone online.

No no. I was not saying that you were being sarcastic. I was saying that the part I greentexted is a false statement.

I am sorry, but yes, you do. Across the world, religion attempts and does suppress science on a daily basis. Even in free countries.

And my personal belief is that the sins of the father pass to his son. That is a lot of suppression to be accounted for.

>> No.1714911

>>1714899

Yes but science is not imaginary. And we are not children. We are grown men, and we come here to gain and contribute scientific knowledge. There are other places to go for what you want. So please stop.

You need to reword these sentences so that they make sense. I'll try to answer you if you do.

>> No.1714927

If we want to discuss science that doesn't obey the laws given by science, the ones that are not 100% correct, then we are entitled to. Prove to me why this is wrong, and I will leave. If you can't, you prove to everyone online that all you're doing is suppressing.

>>1714919

You're trying to impose your view of things on a community who was here before you, and about a completely different subject than you wish to discuss, and you call us out for suppression? What you are trying to do here is about the same thing as when the democrats put into law the Fair Air Act. (Mind you I'm not sure what it was called, but the effect of it shall be explained in the next sentence*) That's when they suddenly decided that they needed to make every radio station that was only conservative radio play pro-liberal programming through enforcement of the FCC. What you are doing here is essentially the same, where you come to a board who's intention is to strictly talk about science, and you try to make it so that it also talks about pseudoscience and religion, and if you don't get your way, you'll make a big deal about it till nobody cares. That's essentially Facism. So please stop.

Thats not how you answer a question. You're interested in science, you should be good at these sorts of things. You've just proved that all you do is suppress.

Humanity: 1
Science: 0

You can continue to suppress, report, sage, whatever. (It's not going to stop anything).

I gave you a perfect solution, why not allow us to speak our minds? You afraid something will get out there? You afraid we might change peoples minds about certain things? You wanna keep them locked in your unimaginative prison? Sure, you can try.

Well I'm off for tonight. Tired.
Happy Suppressing.

Face it guys. Aether won't leave. He won't learn to shut up. But we can learn to ignore him.

Cmon guys, let show him how science always prevails! We pretend he doesn't exist and we monitor his behavior changes!

You didn't answer the question. If it doesn't agree with one of the laws, it doesn't make it not-science. For the laws are not 100% correct. Therefore new laws can be used. It's still science.

Peace and love,
Aether.

Oh, so I see you wish to dismiss the statement without a proper response to it. Well that's ok, what ever your reason for it, and your rhetorical questions, it doesn't matter, for your inability to reason will result in a report every time you post a religion or pseudoscience thread, and I will also do my best to sage it all the way to page 10 in necessary.

You havent provided reason as to why I'm wrong. Just a statement about how you believe things should go around here. People are entitled to freedom of thought and speech. If you don't like it, I suggest you go talk to the president.

Are you daft? You came HERE to talk about how much you want things changed, and how you want things to be your way. You are one person, amongst dozens, trying to come here to change our minds with an "or else" sort of alternative. So please. Stop. I won't ask you again.
