Rank the following majors at the bachelor's level from least-intensive (math wise) to most intensive:
Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer

Electrical is the most math intensive, followed by either Mechanical or Aerospace (depending on the program). Computer engineering it really depends on how the bachelor's degree is focused. If it's very practical and hardware oriented there will probably be barely any math at all except for what is needed for basic circuits, digital integrated circuits and digital logic (and maybe some algorithms/TOC if you're at a good school). If it's more of a theoretical comp E program you might get a decent amount of abstract algebra for cyber security, coding theory that kind of thing.

I'm learning about functional calculus right now and this is honestly the coolest thing I've seen in a long time, plus you can troll mathlets by leaving multiplicative integrals on the blackboard.

I just finished Stewart's Calculus on my own, now time for linear algebra. Bought Friedberg, Insel and Spence's book. Comes in on Monday.

So I dropped out of my math masters 8 years ago because my love of alcohol superseded all else. I went down a dark spiral and wound up homeless, unemployed, etc and wound up in treatment and sober for 1 year now.

Anyway, I'm back at uni taking a few 4th year math classes to prepare for applying for my masters again. Math just seems easier than ever before somehow. I'm doing way better in my classes, getting A- to A+ on any assignment or exam. I'm even getting above 100% in this summer class because the undergrad section of this class can do the grad section problems for bonus marks.

I really wish I never wasted so much time being an alcoholic. It fucking sucks to be basically restarting at 34. I will be late 30s when I am finishing up my PhD. I always knew I had a talent for mathematics, but this shit is easy as fuck with minimal effort if I am sober. Granted, I have not taken any proof intensive courses yet though I plan to take topology next semester.
