Nobody with half a brain wants to become an astronaut though.
For roughly the same reason nobody with half a brain wants to work in a submarine or an offshore rig.
Early space conquest will be fueled by poor fucks' suffering. That's a given.

Astronauts are workers. They have a social utility, and a purpose.
Tourist are deadweights. A plague on society.

vegetarianism, not veganism. we are designed to take some nutrients from other living beings or their produce that we can't produce ourselves, so things like milk are necessary. meat eating is probably wasteful of resources, and veganism is unhealthy. something in between should suffice.

No. Formose sugars, synthetic aminoacids and esterified glucose (from the Formose sugar) and fatty acids (from polymerized ethylene(made from ethanol for example by fermenting the not biogenic Formose sugar with GMO yeast)). I would rather eat the synthetic food than ze bugs. Or the meme algae.

>meat eating is probably wasteful of resources,
producing meat uses less resources than agriculture does. the animals walk out to the pastures & feed themselves, they ever walk to the slaughtering facility. no need for tractors or pesticides or all the other resources that agriculture consumes
