Here's what I don't like about the metric. It cliams to be this orderly and impartial system of measurement, when in reality it's very core is arbitrary. The meter for example, why was it length chosen as the thing that all measurements of length should be compared to? Because some one just said "this is what we are going to compare everything to". Even though it wass not synchronous with the universe in any way and they had to go back and lie to make seem so.
