With nearly 100,000,000 vaxxies looked at.

What is /sci/'s opinion on this?

Limited hangout.
They want to regain public trust through transparency by "acknowledging" side effects.
Then they will argue their risk-benefit recommendations were correct all along.
The problem is their data is probably an underestimate.
No way they rigorously scrutinized 100M people. Most of the heart conditions likely went unnoticed/unreported.
And the covid hospitalization data probably contains many false positives who were really vaccine injured (making covid look worse and vaccines look better).

My biggest issue with the whole ordeal was how one-size-fits-all their recommendations were.
You'd think they would find the most relevant variables for covid outcomes and vaccine side effects then just make a simple risk/benefit calculator that people could enter their info into.
All we got were broad age range buckets. No race, sex, BMI, comorbidities, urban/suburban/rural, athletic activity, etc.

I remember doing nigger-math to calculate my risk of severe covid outcome.
I interpolated the data they had to get the estimated risk for my age, factored in my reduced risk for my non-fatass BMI and lack of other comorbidities, then guessed at the reduced risk for my hermit lifestyle (1/5) where I leave home once a week to get groceries.
My risk was on the order of 1 / (# people my age in US).
That's when I stopped caring.

A few countries allowed those with a documented covid infection to delay getting the injections for a few months but most considered natural immunity to be a threat and attacked it as anti-science. Medical exemptions were very difficult to get, with doctors threatened with the loss of their license if a review board disagreed with their exemption. As a result, few doctors would write them, even if the patient's life could be in danger from the injections. The risk to their livelihood was too high and their commitment to their patients too low. Everything was rounded, smoothed, and angled to get everyone into the one and only acceptable path: getting injected.
Over on Hacker News (nicknamed Orange Reddit for good reason), a popular narrative was that since the injections had zero risk, everyone should be forced to get them to make the paperwork simpler. The pandemic response cost tens of trillions, by far the most expensive government spending event in modern history, and these people were "concerned" over the cost of tracking who did and didn't have a documented natural immunity or high risk factor.
Now they all want to pretend nothing happened.
>Time to move on, no one cares about that anymore.
They're like children that threw tantrums to get an expensive toy and now have dropped it on floor out of boredom with it.

>is the methodology very good?
This is pure ecological correlation with zero causally informative work. So "lol no".

This doesn't even make a pretend attempt to control for prior or concurrent covid-19 infection, for example. The fact AEFI varied so much despite vaccine "ingredient" consistency facially evidences high covid-19 concurrence. Meanwhile other paradoxical anti-trends would require you believe covid or vaccination cures things like seizures. Check fig 1 and the other time series data charts.

What you're seeing in most of them is clearly resource management altering diagnostic rates for certain conditions, such as "idiopathic" conditions in places like Taiwan, incidence increases beginning with covid-19 but prior to vaccination, and covid-19 caused conditions declining with viral severity declining. Things like that. Just facially there's every reason to conclude none of these have anything to do with vaccination from time series correlation alone.

Nothing new in it. CDC site has been mentioning myocarditis and TTS as rare adverse events since early 2021 for mRNA and non-mRNA vaccines respectively. This study just adds some additional quantification to what's been the mainstream narrative since early 2021.
The question people want answered but none of these researchers seem to bother answering is how the risk assessment plays out given the huge number of breakthrough infections. "But COVID infection has a higher risk of myocarditis/TTS" says nothing because it assumes a highly effective vaccine without breakthrough infections, which obviously isn't the case.

that's why your theory is retarded, and you are a retard

not that the vaccine isn't poison.
when retards decide they want to "save lives" you end up with poison.. imagine that
