Reality is the end-state that is experienced by conscious things. If the universe is a simulation, reality is the end-result of the simulating.

You are your own reality nested in a parent reality. All realities are equivalent, either belonging to the same source or their own, but still subset in a hierarchal. This way the simulation is completely accurate pertaining to true choice, which I assume you imply is impossible in your op.

Why you turn your trip off? Anyways, one cannot experience reality until it is observed, but reality unobserved does not exist. The question then arises, how does one insulate themselves so they can view all states of simulation?
