I know some of you don't want to do another round of boosters, I get it. I had a mild reaction to my first shot. Nothing much just really bad heart palpitations. I'm glad I got it, because two days later I got covid. It was really bad, can't imagine how bad it would have been if I weren't vaxed.

My second shot was a little worse. Half my face went numb, and I had terrible tremors. I couldn't walk for a month. I was very lucky though, because I got the new variant a week after my second shot. It really was the worst covid yet. I had clots all in my legs, and my heart was going crazy. I went to the ER. Turns out I have long covid, and myocarditis from the covid spike proteins. I would be dead now if I weren't vaxed.

I knew I needed the third shot, and I was a little hesitant, but I sucked it up and got it. I knew it'd probably make me feel bad for a few days, but that's nothing compared to covid. Sure enough four days after my third shot, my long covid came back worse than ever. I couldn't walk, my hair was failing out, bleeding from my ears, my heart just stops and starts. I have no control of my bowels or motor functions. I just constantly flail and piss myself.

Covid, especially long covid is no joke. I will definitely be getting the new boosters.

I just get a booster when I get my flu vaccine in the late-fall. I don’t get it every three months or whatever you crazy people are saying. In fact I don’t think anyone is saying every three months. What I’ve read is that natural immunity (from an infection) goes away at three months and vaccine immunity has a half-life of nine months.

I got Covid last year about a month before I would have normally been vaccinated and it sucked balls. Was a really crazy infection. I was wearing my Garmin during it and could see after these random spikes in heart rate where it’d go up to 185bpm and these correlated with sheets of sweat pouring down my body. I had no sleep for 31 hours after I tested positive.

I like how you're projecting your own feelings. I'm not afraid. In fact, most people aren't afraid of the jab. We've simply moved on. 4chan is the only place I have encountered that topic in the past 2 years. I like that some countries required masks a bit longer, like Japan, but even there it's not a topic for like a year.

Sucks to be you. The only tests I got were when I was sick and for international travel for Christmas 2020. You could argue that not going skiing is bad enough that the requirement to get tested can be seen as force, but honestly, I made the choice to get tested.

The vaccine gave me pretty strong side effects. The probability of side effects went from p < 1 to p = 1, it's reasonable to adjust my behavior according to new information about my body's interaction with the vaccine.
