So what are the short term effects if Starship works? Starlink V2 satellites will start to be spammed like was said in the previous thread, but then there is Gravitics StarMax, Polaris missions where they dock Dragon with Starship, DearMoon, maybe some private moon landing missions (after NASA has got their first in so they don't get pissy), a big Starship-based telescope that Musk has supposedly talked to some astronomers about, first Mars cargoship landings when the next window opens, other spacestations than Gravitics like a Starship variant of Haven-1 from Vast (Haven-1 itself is supposed to launch 2025 on a Falcon 9 I think), ThinkOrbital with welded sphere space stations (the main thing is welding in space itself though)

how long is it going to take for mainstream science organizations to take advantage of Starship? I've seen some articles about that it needs to be taken seriously and some speculative articles but not much else
there are no large plans yet because it isn't proven to work yet and isn't proven to be as cheap as it is planned, I don't really think its even possible for most organizations (big old companies or unis and whatever) to even take it seriously before it is proven just due to how these organizations work (slow and bureucratic, don't take much risks generally)

They never found a way to make crew launch work with geographic return. They don't really need reusable rockets since the government doesn't launch that many payloads and they are often sent on high-energy orbits that would use an expendable Falcon anyway.
