I think I might have succeeded proving some open problem that is not so hard or special in a specific niche in math.

I don't have a big traction in the academy so I think if I wanted to publish a solution I would have to ask an author or some professor to take a look and agree on behalf of his name, not even necessarily being affiliated with him.

How does one goes about doing that without scams and other troubles?

Troubles such as an author not giving credit, also assume I won't put out a pre print

Post it onto /sci/ and give an email address with it. The post will be tied to your email so if anyone tries to steal it, well the archive will prevent that.

Sounds neat but I want it to make a bit more serious, even though that would already require so affiliation or traction in the academy which I don't have much

Kill all the jews and then try again.

Just a heads up then: unless you start a phd you're NEVER going to get the proof out there (ir at least get it taken seriously) unless you run it past a math professor with knowledge in the field. Afraid of plagiarism? Tough shit, you're still going to need an endorsement to post it to arxiv.

I did get an endorsement, it's just that even then the moderators want it to get published and only then allow it in, otherwise they want to keep the repository up to standards or whatever.

Then there's the option to put a preprint in HAL which is also reputable but contains some garbage.

Either way I will show it to a proff so he can publish on behalf of my name

And if I'm not mistaken the American mathematical monthly accepts anonymous manuscripts although it is not a research journal..

You can post the hash of your proof here (on linux you simply type "sha256 file/path/here" into the terminal) and tie it to an email address you only use for this purpose.
In that way you have an insurance of owning the proof without it being tied to 4chan unless you need to prove authorship.

correction: the command is sha256sum and maybe you actually want to use sha512sum instead.
