SEV has been over for a long time. The first Artemis mission is exploring a permanently shadowed crater to investigate frozen volatiles. So the scientists said use an unpressurized rover because otherwise opening an airlock could contaminate the science. It's quite funny that NASA spent a bunch of time on pressurized rovers for when we go back to the moon, but not only will a souped up golf cart do, they have to use one. When they get to a point where the flights succeed at everything they put in the flight plan with the FAA (i.e. booster soft lands in ocean and ship reenters and soft lands near Hawaii for these last two flights) so they don't need a mishap investigation every time.
