The guy is clearly smart, but he has a few tendencies that make him prone to quackery.

Firstly, he tends to impose a lot of anthropomorphizing motivation onto concepts that are not necessarily motivated. As an example, the concept of an EGO (embedded growth obligation) is a genuinely brilliant way of framing the problem of managing expectations/incentives in an economy built around growth. He prevents people who are serious about economics from taking this concept seriously by adding onto it this poisoning of "all of these frauds don't want you to know what they are doing and I'm the only one who can tell you the truth about it." If he dropped that schtick and humbled himself enough to work with some real economists, he could probably make a really interesting and fleshed out economic argument that people would take seriously.

Secondly, he highly over values his own insight. The guy is obviously fairly smart, but he has the relationship between his intelligence and his insight precisely backwards. Given that he is fairly intelligent, he should be subjecting his thought process to more outside scrutiny rather than less. Unless I've missed it I am still, STILL, waiting for something to show up in complete form like mention of him supposedly throwing up a paper on arXiv. That was I think back in 2010 or 2013 or something. Googling it now I find a wiki and still nothing.

From my cursory glance over it just seems to me what he's got so far inevitably gets toward the same work on emergent gravity models and dynamical systems we've got millions of already. Going over what we already know isn't special nor particularly useful. I can't say though or say that's all he has because he still has not put something in complete form, or if he has I haven't seen it. This would maybe be "prelude to" something useful but on its own it isn't. I don't see anything of value here yet and I'm not sure why he hasn't gone further unless he just can't or doesn't care to anymore.
