So many once is in this thread want to attribute violence to pornograohy. This results from misogyny. They want porn = evil to pass judgement on that roast is living her best life, living a proverbial porno with new chad(s) every night. I'm sorry, but if you believe the word of Ted fucking Bundy, you are unbelievably gullible. Bundy was a complete psychopath and as a result probably never told the truth once in his whole life. He was a serial killer, necrophile, paedophile and rapist who volunteered at a suicide prevention hotline, that rather tells you everything you need to know about the man, about the levels of dishonesty he functioned at. That entire interview is him trying to diminish and obfuscate his crimes; "it was the alcohol", "there are lots of people like me", "I've found God" and of course "porn made me violent". At about fifteen minutes in he's still calling himself a "normal person", he still thinks there's a noteworthy distinction between Bundy the killer and whatever else he thought he was, but the reality is he was committing crimes from his adolescence, potentially even murders.

More to the point, pornography is more prevelent now than it ever was in the 1960s, '70s and '80s. To the extent where if Bundy's claims were even remotely accurate, we'd be knee deep in blood and entrails 24/7. Violent crime statistics in the west have only trended downwards since the era Bundy operated in. I'm not defending or defaming pornography, I'm just pointing out how utterly untrue what Bundy suggests is.

I can't listen to the whole thing, he's so full of it. I hope it hurt when they fried the cunt.

it's probably true to some degree but not in terms of porn causes serial killers, that couldn't be further from the truth.
Unhealthy people are obsession with porn, serial killers are unwell mentally.

However, I don't think Mr Bundy was too concerned with the levels of exploitation in the industry, about how potentially harmful sex acts are disseminated to people who don't know their arse from their elbow, or how until a couple of years back every major porn site was hosting rape, child sex abuse and revenge porn, all because they hadn't done any moderating in fifteen years of operation. Bundy only ever cared about one thing and it certainly wasn't the public good.

Well, he's partially correct. Every single Serial Killer on record (thousands of them) were heavy consumers of porn. Same with a lot of spree shooters and one-time murderers.
Bundy was a piece of crap, but that doesn't mean he's inherently wrong in this case.
