The other thing is that there’s entire plasmids being found in there - read the substack article above, the v slow thinking one. It’s genuinely good. Goes through the primary papers in detail and explains what it means .
Whole plasmids means it’s going to do a spot of swappy swappy with the bacteria that live in your gut. Bacteria can in effect mate by swapping and recombining plasmid material. Now imagine a plasmid gets into your gut bacteria and starts churning out spike subunits (wonder if that’s where the wastewater focus is coming from?) constant spike. Constant replication of the plasmid. Which oh dear has that pesky sv40 promoter in which is now expressed at high copy number and oh dear, just one or two of those trillions of copies has just integrated into somewhere very critical .
It’s one plausible mechanism for why spike is detected for so damn long in people.
