Dear science, is there any math or economic genious who could calculate how much it would cost to build an underwater city like rapture? more or less the same.

How much would construction cost for a normal city the same size on the ground?

How much would it cost underwater taken into consideration the cost for getting air?

Artificial sunlight that can make plants....well not die?
And clean water, how much would it cost to make sea water drinkable for an entire city under 20 years?

How much would it cost for glass that can take such a gigantic amount of pressure, let alone humans.

Not technically feasible with out current construction techniques, at least it wouldn't hold.

Give it another 50 years for robots.

it highly depends on how deep and where you want to build the city under water and how many people you want to sim
assuming the city had its own supply of solenoids powered by a fuel such as steam that could provide enough energy to artificially grow plants for oxygen and other electrical needs its possible that a city could be made close to the surface. as for price i assume it would be only be the amount of a on land city with the addition of having to make it underwater (obviously) which is near impossible to estimate without more planing

I was going to take Robotics Engineering but the realisation that you need a phd in it to be doing anything meaningful in the field put me off. You got to have such a wide area of expertise, so respect to you! Asuming you're not just some first year undergrad trying to be big.
