So this is what the /fit/izens and /b/tards have been talking about.

Ok /sci/entists, lets have an intellectual dialogue pondering life and our foremost existence, shall we.

It is my professional opinion as a 16 year old manchild that the universe is a beautiful entity in itself if it is random.

If humanity was born out of chance.

But at the same time, humanity is a contradiction.

Life exists consciously and with a purpose. The actions of a man from birth until rest are, for the most part, very conscious and purposeful - as are the reactions instigated.

What I'm try to get across here is that without the human race, the universe becomes perfect.

I'll give you a hint. Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think that you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong.

quite vague, but correct. Could explain, but would require a wall of text.

Noted

So then, I have to agree with the Anthropic Principle?

>> No.1577287

just realise that everything, including perfection, is subjective and that way you realise any answer you come up with can be both right and wrong at the same time

>>1577287

I think I'm going to like it here.

Perfection isn't subjective. If it was, it wouldn't be perfect.

>> No.1577310

>>1577303
Perfection is subjective because perfection doesn't exist outside of our thoughts. A circle can be perfect only because we call it a circle.

>> No.1577311

>>1577303
Perfection is just a word, a state of mind.

>> No.1577329

>>1577311

So essentially, perfection cannot exist because it is a perception?

Rather, nothing in existence should be considered perfect outside the constraints of though?

>> No.1577334

>>1577329
correct

>> No.1577343

And so.

With perfections state of nonexistence.
Imperfection is also nonexistent.

Again, outside the constraints of human thought.

>> No.1577354

Given the fact that, universe, could be considered as the sphere or realm in which something takes place.
Does this also mean that human thought in itself could be considered a universe.

>> No.1577364

>>1577354
Only if you define the word universe to mean a sphere or realm in which something takes place.

>> No.1577369

>>1577354
and what do you mean by "something".

>> No.1577380

>>1577343
Why is it outside the constraints of human thought? I'm explaining it to you right now am I not?
Also like I said, perfection does exist, but only in a subjective manner. Everything in the universe could be considered perfect, yet imperfect. It's a value given to by human thought. Such values don't exist outside our thoughts.

I actually rather enjoyed that.

I don't know too much about the subject, so I definitely could be wrong, but you could be thinking of a slightly different version of biocentrism.

Yeah, I'm probably wrong, but just throwing it out there
