Mathmatically speaking, how do I go about calculating the height of these two gentlemen?

Scaling the pajeet to the gentleman gives 1.15 to 1.34 pajeet size or 5ft 8 and 6ft 8 respectively.

I did a demonstration where I can tell someone's
height (roughly) just from a set distance away
and an object (marker, ruler, etc.). It went like this:

>measure every piece of the object beforehand
(ex. closed marker, marker cap, marker body, etc.)
>hold object at arm length from face; divide object length by distance from face
(differs for each person)
>stand a set distance away from the person being measured
(you can use the object to measure, if you want; use convenient numbers)
>use object at arm length to measure the person's height
(ex. they're one closed marker tall at some distance you picked)
>do this calculation: [math] h=d\cdot[{{o_1+o_2+...}\over {f}}] [/math]
(h=height; d=set distance; o_1, o_2...=length of object and parts, if needed; f=face distance)
>use the same units (ex. markers) in your calculation and convert to in. or cm. at the end

The result would be a little off, so add that delicious fudge
factor of 1-3 in. (or 2.5 to 7.6 cm) and get the final height.
