A common critique that Norman Wildberger possesses towards the real number system based on set theory is its ad homimen abundant appeals to infinite interation. Well, I'm here to say he is correct on this matter, but he than goes on to hide behind a different beast- the nothingness. Apologies Mr Wildberger, but forsaking the concept of the empty set to identify as 0 is committing the same, albeit lesser evil as your predecessors. For infinity has no precision at endless magnitude, and zero has endless precision at no magnitude- behold! Revealed are the 0 and infinite to be two sides of the same coin, the primordial paradox is revealed.

The polynumber system, and thus set theory is rectified by construing the empty set as the aetheric set, one based not on zero but the congealing of the primordial paradoxes. It is the symbol of the substrate, of the continuum, of the place in which the number will ultimately sit. After all, can a number really be separated from the field in which it sits? in MMP I introduce the ouroboros operation, which is applied on the nothingness and the endless, to birth the aetheric set, which is than the basis of the polynumber system.

drop the hermeto-gnosticism, i have enough with what the followers of georg hegel, herbert marcuse and paulo freire have done to humanity and even category theory, i don't need any more cult shit(im not a finitard by the by, and the reals are neat)

some of them are okay

So you're suggesting that zero should not be the empty multiset but the empty set to correct Wildberger?

Interestingly the question of unifying the nothingness and infinite has been ageless question

Thus the Zeroth Lemma remains axiomatic, so that one never forgets how every number is rooted in the atheric, and doesn't descend down the relativists watering down of the axiom

The concept of empty set is a red herring. If we're going to commit to the law of intellectual honesty, we must admit the empty set is just as impossible to create as the infinite set.

Therefore MMP improves on the model by removing the notion of empty set for the notion of the aetheric set. This makes the polynumber system not feel like something is coming from nothing, but it is the emergence of the paradox of the infinite nothingness that gives birth to all number
