because global warming is a hoax, thats why there is no work being done to "solve" the nonexistent problem.
the hoax plays into the confirmation bias and fantasy lives of people prone to narcissist savior complexes where they imagine themselves becoming a big hero by solving a major problem, thats why so many mentally ill people believe in global warming
