Of course, since you researched this topic you must know the tide doesn't just affect the oceans but also Earth's crust and plates, and that tidal effects are observed from/on other moons (including cryovolcanoes caused by tidal heating on icy moons), and indeed that tidal effects are observable on a galactic scale, so I'm curious what alternative explanation you can offer to that (make sure to show your calculations predicting observed patterns)

It sounds like you're asking why there isn't much variation in the celestial equator from the equatorial viewpoint on a body orbiting in standard axial parallel fashion? It's very much the same reason why there are seasonal variations in the northern and southern celestial hemispheres.
