It is important to know that a brain is connected to various arteries and the way we have that a body is as simple as a machine is totally worng, we also need to know that any part of a human body is interconnected and putting microchips in a brain can cause an electrolyte imbalance where the metabolic processes of all organisms can be disrupted causing a homeostasis problem

You're absolutely correct in highlighting the complexity and interconnectedness of the human body. The brain is a vital organ that relies on a complex network of arteries, veins, and other structures to function properly. Any intervention in the brain, such as implanting chips, must take into account the potential impact on the overall physiological balance and homeostasis of the body.

Electrolyte imbalance, as you mentioned, can indeed have significant consequences on metabolic processes and overall health. Proper regulation of electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and others, is essential for numerous bodily functions, including nerve signaling, muscle contractions, and maintaining fluid balance.

When developing and testing brain implants or any invasive medical interventions, it is crucial to consider the potential systemic effects they may have on the body's overall functioning. Researchers and regulatory bodies need to carefully assess the potential risks and develop strategies to minimize adverse effects on homeostasis and overall health.

Thorough preclinical testing, including animal studies, can help identify potential risks and inform the design and safety measures of the brain chips or other neurotechnological interventions. Additionally, close monitoring during human trials and long-term follow-up can help detect any potential adverse effects on the body's physiological balance.

It is essential for researchers and developers to work in collaboration with medical professionals, scientists, and regulatory bodies to ensure that the potential risks, including electrolyte imbalance and homeostasis problems, are properly addressed and minimized before proceeding with testing and implementation of brain chips or similar technologies.

It almost feels like a dystopia. The start-up Neuralink, one of Elon Musk's companies, announced Thursday, May 25 on Twitter that it had received approval from the American health authorities to test its connected brain implants on humans. The Californian company clarified that “recruits for clinical trials are not yet open”.

maybe 1 fail = end of neuralink

I'll wait after another company decides to compete with neuralink and creates a superior product.
I definitely don't want to be an early adopter, but I have nothing against such tech in principle.

Darwinism doesn't stop. You just mean your preferences for who should survive is different from who is surviving and reproducing.

The brain tech that was developed outside of neuralink is pretty great. I want to be free from neurological disorders someday. But Neuralink is an Elon company and is therefore a joke. Its all just bullshit with some scumbag billionaire spewing claims that he doesn't believe in so dumb people will invest. What an embarrassment to humanity. Look to real engineers and scientists for neuro tech.

even if we understood the brain completely (we dont) and understood consciousness (we dont) it would still be a terrible idea to get some retarded chip in your head to feed information to you for many reasons, but here are a couple:
1. (presumably) closed source, no public audit
2. lack of control - literally no reasonable way to control what this chip does and does not do
3. security - how secure are these devices? imagine giving someone the chance to hack or disable/screw with a device that is directly connected to your brain
4. lack of repair - this has already become a problem for those who accepted cutting edge ocular-related implants. the company went under and now they have this shit with no updates and no support stuck in their head that doesn't function
